Knitted Blocks

The pattern for my knitted blocks is now available! I've been making versions of these blocks for a while now and have finally perfected the pattern. The pink blocks are made using the final pattern, all the rest are earlier versions. 

Originally I knit each block in six different pieces, one for each side. The pieces were quick and easy to knit, but I always dreaded sewing them up. There were way too many ends to sew in! So, I started knitting four of the sides in one long piece. In the final version of the pattern, each block is knit in only three pieces, one letter, one number and a long piece with sections of seed stitch and stripes for the other four sides. It is so much easier!

Many of these block sets are still available in my etsy shop. I also have a few more sets in the works. I keep thinking of great color combinations and wanting to make more!
